@Cloud and I have to come clean about something: we intentionally set an impossible ETA, one we never could even dream of meeting. Why you may ask? Like many of you, we perform at our best when we're under extreme amounts of pressure. It's what allows us to be full-time students, full-time programmers/engineers, full-time business owners, and full-time RuneMates all at the same time. A few short weeks ago we set out to overhaul the 62,746 line application we all love and know as RuneMate 1.0 in order to pioneer the unexplored future of botting. The changes affected every facet of the application from how we access the RuneScape client to the design of the user interface. We initially had a multi-phase timeline, as posted in the original post, but the paradigm shift affected too many things and as such we had to combine Phase A and B to avoid redundant work. As such, we had to postpone the ETA to reflect the increased scope. However, in our haste and optimism we did not give ourselves enough of an extension to deal with the added objectives and that is where we are now. To prevent making that mistake again, we have withdrawn the ETA in order to properly assess how long it will take us to wrap up Spectre as well as spend some time with our families this holiday season. With three consecutive all-nighters working on this with @Cloud, we have been neglecting both our health and our loved ones. Spectre was well-engineered. Spectre is an inevitability. Spectre will be the new gold standard. It just won't be today, and that's okay.

But before I go let me leave you with a couple images/graphs that will hopefully put our work into perspective for you.

(to be continued)
Dont do any etas anymore, it will only disappoint people. Release when you are ready, and work when you can.

I agree with @Savior I think the era should just plain out be removed although it might give you guys the drive to work more a lot of people will be disappointed and maybe even leave the site. Like he said you guys should just take era down and release when it's ready without announcing.
withdraw the eta just change the clients download name to orgasmincoming, and then we will know when we download the file.

All my accounts were banned after 2 days I stopped botting. And now, we dont have Spectre, that was a nice disappointment
who cares if they got banned you got nothing else but yourself to deal with that. You've always known that botting was your own risk.

but ye spectre not being on eta is ok to be dissapointed over but seriously stop playing others for your stupidity.

If no one would report bans, no one would know if its risky to bot atm.

Can we get any info on the API changes at least? Or get the changes pushed/updated?

I'm kinda frustrated just sitting here waiting for release so I can get back to updating my scripts, i'd rather not waste my time on cleaning up a script then all of a sudden tons of API changes happen.

@Arbiter @Cloud Have you guys ever considered changing the RM logo? Your website and bot UI is super impressive, but I always thought it was odd that you use a character like Claptrap as your mascot. It's just a suggestion, but an original logo might help make RM appear more legitimate to the average user. Again, it's just a suggestion. Spectre looks amazing, and I can't wait to give it a go. :)

As a new member on this forum I am grateful for your hard work, keep the eta if it makes you work better whilst under pressure, I'm the same way, I remember before I took my break from RS you could never find a bot as good as this one with the amount of scripts, especially now with Jagexs bot detection, and now your engineering a new way to bot. Only good things should be said about you two, no one wants a rushed update but don't you think any Jmod will be able to download the bot and figure out how it works? Anyways good luck and as a computer science major may I ask how many years of schooling you guys have had to make something like this?

Cloud said the API will stay the same for 99% of it, so don't worry about that :)
