you've got some of the best work here but I think making this premium was a big mistake. :( Not enough of a userbase to make a script cost 50 cents per hour of usage considering one divination level takes around 12 hours at 95+. That's expecting us to pay $6/level which is completely ridiculous... I could understand a one-time fee of like $10 or $5, but 50 cents/hour is a little unreasonable. That's just my opinion and I will admit this script is fucking great, went from 69-94 div in less than a week.

It's actually 5 cents an hour mate. By your calculations that 60 cents for 95 -> 96. :p

Ahh I see now that it's only 5 cents/hr. That's a much more reasonable price but it's still in my opinion a little bit steep to be paying hourly rates for a script (RID is an exception in my opinion). Oh well :p, guess i'll be stoping at 94 div. I wish you good luck with sales though def3ated.

Not sure what you're objecting to, the specific price of $0.05/hr or the hourly rate system in general. If it's the latter you'll find that for most users aiming to do reasonable things like get a skillcape the hourly rate is significantly cheaper than a flat fee.

Leechers gunna leech. Fact of the matter is this bot, on other sites, has cost range from $7.99 to $20.00, therefore, we are still much cheaper than the rest in the market.

How is 0.05 cents an hour, by any means, expensive? Do you know how tedious actually training Divination by hand? Of course you do, that's why you were using this bot.

You realize that if you multiply it out, 10 hours a day for 30 days at $0.05/hr is only $15/month. And 10 hours a day every day for a month is more than the average person would run it for. So you're actually getting a better deal than the flat fee of $10-20/month

clearly stated in my post that i would rather pay a one-time fee for the script, and I have no problem contributing to an author who puts good work and effort into his scripts (which def3ated does). I was stating that I don't like the hourly system because I use bots for an oddly ridiculous amount of time and in the long run it will add up to be a lot of money. If you wanna be a jerk and say "yeah phr33 st00f yeah cool" that's all cool go for it, but at least read what I say before being dumb.

Maybe u should look @ what aidden said...
Oh what the heck ill even quote it for u, cuz i know u lazy as fuck.

also.. 1 mill osrs is worth like 0.25$ if u sell it str8 to a goldseller. which is 0.20$ an hr profit basically.. (if ur using the gather energy option which gives u 1m$ ~) i dont see why an hourly rate is so bad to be honest. Most people go for a 99 and than stop. 99 divination is like 150-170 hrs of work. thats like 7.50-7.75$.. if u pay the one time fee of 15-20$ ur like double the price for a 99..

"more than the average person would run it for"

Literally stated i'm not the average person, " I was stating that I don't like the hourly system because I use bots for an oddly ridiculous amount of time and in the long run it will add up to be a lot of money" Maybe you should look @ what I said. Stop jumping on the bandwagon, at least, as i've said before, just read my post before you just jump to join the side of the admins. I understand that using it hourly is not that expensive if using it for a month for the average person, but I'm not the average person. Stop trying to bring up the exact same point that is completely irrelevant because I've countered it 4 times. I get that 5 cents/hour is not that much I'm just expressing how I prefer a one-time payment

The thing is, the current model is pay per use, those who use it more, pay more, those who use it less, pay less. Either way you're paying for exactly the amount you use. This is the fairest approach in my opinion.

nevertheless u've never mentioned the reason why u run it more than an avarage person? do u run multiple accounts? (i think that adds up?) also.. do u go for 120? or do u just gather energy for $$?

as i mentioned earlier, goldsellers buy ur mills for ~0.25$ so u basically have to sell 1/5th of ur hourly income ea account to make up the costs for the script. but yea.. maybe there has to be a choice for people... to buy the bot for 15-20$ or to use it for an hourly rate. Just so the goldfarmers/120 skillers dont have to pay that much in comparison.

The whole point is to charge proportional to the usage. If you use the bot more than the average user as you stated, then it would only be sensible that you be charged more for it. If you go to McDonalds and eat more food than the average customer then you're charged more for it right? Simply complaining or disliking something because it is less convenient/profitable for you is short-sighted and rather selfish. Think of how much cheaper we can offer products for most users by scaling payments for gold farmers, not to mention how that affects the longevity of a bot or in-game method/market.

How does the summoning option work here? Does this bot bank for pouches/pots or does it use supplies provided in the inventory?

Currently it uses supplies in the inventory, might look into banking some day.

No, i wasn't being dumb, i understood exactly what your motives were. You wanted to pay a one time fee because in the long run, it is more profitable to you because you can run it on unlimited accounts just by buying it once, therefore making back the money spent on the bot in less than 24 hours. You are unhappy due to the fact that Runemate evens the play-field between a user and a scripter, so the more the user uses a bot, the higher the compensation for the scripter. Each bot put out to premium goes through atleast 1 week of evaluation by @Cloud, and needs to be perfect before it gets the premium tag. The scripter deserves compensation.
