Hello,

So my Runemate was running just fine until late last night. Now when i go to start the client it just bounces once on my tool bar and then goes away and never opens the client. I have looked at several youtube videos but to no success. I'm using a mac and can't seem to figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

This is a known issue and we are currently investigating.

We appreciate your patience during this time.

Please assist us in identifying the cause by doing the following:

  1. Navigate to your RuneMate installation and find RuneMate.jar & copy this file location
  2. Open Terminal
  3. Type
    Code:
    java -jar RuneMate.jar
    - where "RuneMate.jar" is the file location you found in Step 1
  4. Copy what appears in the Terminal window when you try to run RuneMate and upload it here.

So it seems to work if I open it with the "java" option in the packages folder. It just doesn't wanna open with the normal shortcut.

Any updates on this? Reinstalled again, still not opening.

I'm looking to upgrade to supporter as soon as this is sorted.

Thanks

Give this a try until they work out the environment issue...

1. Make sure you have the proper version of java. This can be done by opening the Terminal application and running the command "java -version". If you see "java version 1.8.XXX...." then you have an recent version of java. If not you can go to Java SE Development Kit 8 - Downloads and download the JDK. By downloading the jdk and not the jre java will set your default java version for you. After installing the jdk make sure the "java -version" gives 1.8.

2. Download the standalone jar of RuneMate from RuneMate | Free RuneScape® 3 & Old School 07 Bot Client. This should be a file called RuneMate.jar. Double click the jar to open it!
