@Arbiter I'm using Linux, tried both 64 and 32 versions of java and the RSU-client, in all cases Spectre cannot find the running instance of the runescape client, please help.

There are several issues Ive noticed (obviously im not a programmer/scripter) between the client and the bots:

1. It takes so long for the program to open. This is like a 10 min process for me. The old rune mate used to take long to open as well, but never this long. It was like a 2-3 min wait before it opened. Now, its well over 5 mins just for it to update if it needs too. I waited almost 10 mins for it to open this morning.

2. Stopping/starting/pausing bots take too long for response to occur on the rs client.

3. When errors occurs in how the bot is supposed to run. Its nigh on impossible to stop the bot, start it over, and keep the same rs client open. This has to look sketch as fuck on Jagex side of things, especially right now during this troubleshooting phase of Spectre.

4. Bots that have been 'updated' do not work how they did prior to spectres arrival. I ran a div bot, and went to my 4 hour block of classes, and when i returned my dude was just sitting there with a chat dialog that said "You're inventory is full" I understand this may lie on the scripting side of things( and that I should talk to the author) but I cant help but wonder how Spectre's new way of using Jagex's own client to run affects this. These issues never occured when RM has their own rs handler built inside of it.

You fix all these things, and give me a number within reason, and I swear ill donate it immediately. You guys do good work, and I know Im usually always angry when I come on to the forums, but thats because this bot funds alot of things I do in my real life, so when progress stops. I start panicking about shit. I hope in some way that this helpful.

#1 is your pc, spectre opens damn near immediately on mine.
#2 also your pc.
#3 probably an issue with certain bots you're using. I don't have these issues atm.
#4 yeah, this I've noticed as well.

PS. just buy supporter, it's worth it.

Hi there. I'm on RuneScape Unix, having same problem as pedrorafaeln .
OS:
Ubuntu Server 15.10 with LXDE installed.
Java 8 from ppa: Oracle Java (JDK) 7 / 8 / 9 Installer PPA : “WebUpd8” team
RSU from ppa also, as instructed on Github page

So far, can't get it to recognize RSU in either user or "sudo" mode. Clicking "Refresh Clients" in step 3 results in
''Searched for and identified 0 game frames in 1131.''
in the java debug.

I'll try Oracle Java directly installed from Oracle's site, and other distros: Debian, & Fedora tonight. Any other tips or advice?

Anyway - the UI, refactor, looks really awesome! I can't wait to start writing some bots on it! You guys really put work into this, I hope it brings in lots of donations & subscribers. I've found RuneMate to generally be the best community & software out there.

Looking forward to Spectre + RSU,
Cheers!

After install the bot shouldn't run with elevated permissions on Linux clients. Also same problem what @pedrorafaeln had
Found the bug and patched it. It will be fixed in the next update sometime today. Linux support tested end-to-end successfully.

Ugh, just got a fucking ban. 1 day an account lasted ffs.
Not only that, the account was a 10 year vet, not even a fresh one.
