Did you level any combat levels at all to make yourself less suspicious to other players or is it a straight level 3 just going 1-99 in woodcutting? Im amazed its still going, not that I have any doubts but woodcutters are usually hit hard with the banhammer very early on these days it seems.

It's level 3. Spot is empty, hardly anyone is there. It's running atm for 9 hours and I checked the public chat and there was nothing. I think it just depends on the location really. If you bot in a crowded location just babysit it.

Yeah for sure, I've been doing a little run myself. Started yesterday and am now 61 woodcutting. Started by cutting normals all across lumbridge, oaks at varrock then powerchopped willows at catherby until 61. Im now running yews at Catherby but pretty sure I'll get the banhammer here. Im not fussed though just mainly wanted to see how it will work out for fun and research really.

I believe that botting in empty places is more dangerous tbh.

I disagree.

If we conclude that the main factors that get you banned are:
1. A poorly written bot
2. Jagex moderators finding you
3. Bot hunters reporting you
4. Other players reporting you

The last three points become drastically less of a risk when you bot somewhere where nobody else comes. Jagex mods and bot hunters are generally 'lazy' and go for the big hits, so they weed out the places where they know a lot of botters are. If you aren't botting on this location, you dodge this factor. The less players in the area you are botting at, the less chance one of these players can identify you as a bot and an even smaller chance they give enough of a fuck to report you.

What do you base your theory on?
