I got Runemate last night, used the alpha fighter - one of the free combat bots. Used it for like 2 hours tops. Botted before Jagex working hours, I was pausing it mid session typing, clicking on moss giants myself. Its unfortunate because for the last week I grinded to 69 strength myself lol.

Im not really mad at you RuneMate just would like to know if I were to do this in the future what I should do? Cus from my understanding the paid ones arent 100% anti-ban either... Played on Runescape 3 if that makes any difference?

I really don't see how you could get banned using RuneMate the first time for 2 hours. Have you ever botted on the account before?

Actually Yes, I used Epic Bot right before, but for only 30 minutes. I felt sketched about it so I came here haha - could that of been it?

Probarly that caused your ban.. Epicbot sucks donkeys lol.

That's almost definitely the reason, epicbot probably gets detected as a bot client right away. Bet you would have gotten banned just logging in using it.

Well at the same time, for the past 5 days I was really grinding almost as if I was actually a bot. I feel like that within itself already put me at risk. (And they may have construed that with me botting since I got the account, which I did not) But I would just like to know if I'm to use Alpha Fighter specifically what I can do to prevent this from happening the next time? I really appreciate the help gentleman!

Tips:
1 ) Don't be greedy, it will get you perma ban. Running the bot for more than a day is a graveyard for your bot. (Fact)
2 ) Avoid botting in populated areas (Theory)

Tbh what you were doing is already on the right track. Keep an eye on bots you don't 100% trust, reply to people if they message you, change it up a bit with your own playing, etc. Only thing is that 2 hours is a bit long without breaks but not necessarily for combat. I usually bot 40 minute intervals personally.
