I once remember a bot that charged a flat rate for monthly bot licenses, and it happened to be possibly the highest grossing bot of all time...… many many years ago. I don't understand the hour thing, but I can tell you that certain paid bots(OpiaWine Ultra, ApexDivination Pro, ApexFisher pro, so on and so forth..) have guaranteed that I will probably never buy hours again and instead go for supporter. The lack of failsafes written into these bots is appalling. ApexFisher doesn't stop when it runs out of bait; ApexDivination PRO clicks spirit trees, teleports away and literally stays logged in for hours despite doing nothing. I know these are issues to take up with the bot authors; yet I leave feedback and get no response.(QVE Abyss Camper literally is less functional than the Abyss fighter that I could access if I had gotten supporter instead, left feedback quite a while ago, no response yet.)
The lack of quality control by some authors who think their bots are worth paying for is simply ridiculous. Some of them require me to start 3 or 4 times, each time of which, I get charged for. I know a bit about Java, how hard is it to actually charge for the TIME rather than deduct each time the bot is started? Administration must be aware of the troublesomeness of many of the paid bot(I'd say 80% are practically unusable regarding cost efficiency, I end up paying 24-30 cents for the first hour LOL.)
Runemate is amazing, don't get me wrong. I've yet to be banned after gaining nearly 70m xp this month. But still. It really would be nice to have consistent functionality and failsafes that would improve my chances of not being banned. I'm still pretty sure my main is going to get banned from ApexFisher, fishing at baxtorian falls I babysat and realized "oh wow this works good", came back several hours later to find it on the OUTSIDE of barbarian assault trying to bank THROUGH the wall because it ran out of feathers.
like wtf?
Sorry for the rant.
