Wouldn't it be possible as a client setting to just Ignore random events instead of instantly dismissing them? When I play normally I rarely dismiss them and just let them stay until they despawn.

Just speculation here, Since runemate dismisses random events as soon as they pop up with no delay, Couldn't this be a way for jagex to detect patterns? To me it looks very bot like when randoms are instantly dismissed as soon as they show up, especially when you're doing an afk skill like Fishing or Woodcutting. It will dismiss the random event and within the same tick go back to what ever it was doing.

This is just a thought and might be a nice quality update, I don't know nor do I think it is watched as a form of bot detection due to how successful RM, But to follow how people play it might be something to look into.

I partially agree, but just to clarify, the bot shouldn't instantly dismiss the random. Most bots use delays when afking fishing or something, which delays the entire bot thread, which means the random would be dismissed as soon as the delay is over.

That being said, I still kind of agree this would be a good option.

I guess instantly is a bit of an exaggeration, Just normally babysit anytime I bot and the majority of the time it will dismiss it within 1-2 seconds of it popping up. I don't ever recall seeing a random sit long enough to say a second line.

Just I remember of the "glory day" of boting, scripts would do all the random events, Not that I want them to do them but having some control over the dismissing aspect would be nice.
