Clouse plays Runescape like an autstic kid with a trackpad.

Is it a common human playstyle?
No.

But does it obviously lower bans?
Yes.

It needs to be fixed, granted. But it still works. I still don't get banned.

Do you really think it lowers bans?
I've noticed at the moment, I'm looting bones and it will right click the bone on the ground, scroll down the interact menu and then close the menu and then right click again and eventually after a bit of scrolling around loot the bone.
The fact that it has to open the menu twice nearly every time seems really bot like to me.

Well every other bot on the market has considerably higher banrates.
Go use a few of the other clients available, and tell me RM doesn't have the lowest banrate.

Tribot: 3 bans within the first week.
Dreambot: 2 bans within the first week.
RSbot: 4 accounts banned within 2 days.

Runemate: 1 account banned since I joined in February.

And this isn't anecdotal, pretty much every user here will give you a similar story. Lots of bans on other clients, until they found this one.

That doesn't mean that it's mouse movement preventing bans. Might be other features of the client.

It doesn't mean that it's not.

Honestly, on the whole issue with clouse and it's functions/action who cares if it messes up? If you want perfect, play the game yourself. If, like many other people, you can't spend your life playing a game than just hope the bot author added enough fail safes to prevent the bot from getting stuck, anti-bans, and playersense. Clearly RM is doing something right if it is the client with the least number and frequency of bans.

Yep, I don't doubt RM has lower banrates, I was just questioning whether this specific bug would be hindering that more than helping.

It doesn't mean that it's not.

I don't understand this line of thinking, the authors of RM might actually care about bugs. They can't possibly find all of them themselves and generally speaking it's helpful if people report bugs. Whether they choose to fix them or not is completely up to them.

I think you will find he is speaking about Clouse and the RM client verse Bot Authors implementing playersense and anti-ban. Something you have no control over as a Bot Author and can't fix either.

The staff here already know of the problems. But when the client is lightyears ahead of the competition, it doesn't seem so important to fix every little thing.

Clouse works, bottom line.
There's more important things they're working on. I'm sure it's on their shortlist, and will be addressed eventually.
