There should be an easy way for users to simply press a button somewhere on my bot screen, which will upload the log and directly attach it to my thread. When they press the button it will ask for a description of what went wrong etc, (Maybe even allow a developer to be able to pass in a message about information they should provide?).

It would make it much easier than the current process where users seem to fail to upload them a lot of the time.

Good idea but the log should be stored privately for only the developers eyes. Logs could have sensitive data in them.

Log files should never have sensitive information in them.
Umm you have a location writable by third parties and you're just assuming it won't have sensitive info? Bot developers also might dump out things like levels and runtime information which users don't want to be publicly accessible. Especially if uploading due to a Spectre issue it really should include computer diagnostics data about your hardware and environment (which is a potential privacy concern).

I'll give you that.

Depends what you define as sensitive I guess.

I've had logs from some bots display my in game name, total level etc.

Beyond that, the only personal information has been my name in my folder structure - C:\Users\Aabidullah\RuneMate\logs

Bots shouldn't be logging that kind of player information unless it's relevant to the execution of the bot, is what I was trying to get at previously. I'd overlooked the fact that we give the log file's location and I didn't consider adding environment/hardware related information.
