Hey, first time posting but have been using runemate and other bot clients for a while now.

Anyways, not sure if this is the right category to post in, but ive looked everywhere online for a solution and can not figure this shit out.

What the problem is: when opening the oldschool client, it simply wont open, when I reinstalled the program, I started getting a "window is searching for jagexlauncher.exe" error.

I can get the client to open now but ONLY in windows 95 compatibility mode and run as administrator and of course runemate wont pair with the client.

Been fucking with it for a couple days now and its REALLY starting to get on my nerves, got it to work fine last night for about 3 hours, thought I had fixed it so I closed my tabs after botting for a bit, reopened just for shits and giggles, boom not working again.

If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it.

Also, apologies if I shouldn't post this on the runemate forums or if I'm in the wrong category.
 
Fucked around with it some more and im getting pretty pissed at this point. tried a few different things, reconfiged "Dcom.jagex.config=http://oldschool.runescape.com/jav_config.ws" now getting error "cannot load perameters, please reinstall program.
Any help would be appreciated.

I completely get it, was really hoping one of the geniuses here would have a solution, im sure jagex isn't going to be of any help.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling one more time. Then instead of trying to run as you normally would, go to C:\Users\$USER\jagexcache\jagexlauncher\bin and double click JagexLauncher.exe.

I really appreciate the suggestion!! That was one of the first things I tried, nothing happens the same as opening the shortcut (originally thought the shortcut had the wrong target path). I'm thinking it has something to do with the cache, I opened "%USERPROFILE%\jagexcache\runescape\LIVE" in notepad and got like four lines saying invalid parameters.

This is really stumping me man.
