Does this still work? If so I will be testing it out.

Having it up and running, installed JRE and Runemate. When I got to login and being botting java crashes. I picked the beefiest VM that I could (2cpu 13gb ram) and it still crashes? Any ideas?

1. Runemate runs fine on linux
2. Whether you bot 24 or 8 hours a day, you're going to get banned, botting any less than 24 hours a day is just cutting into your profit
3. It's about $110 a month to be able to run 7 bots, you can get the same amount of computing power from VPSGamers/Virmach/YoHoJo for about $50-60 a month

Point #3 may be invalid if you get a highmem plan depending on the power of the cpu cores, could be about $70 a month for 6 bots but still, there are much better options

Does anyone have any tips for better performance using this VPS? I'm using the 13GB RAM Dual Xenon Server 2008 and running even one client my framerate is horrid. Hell, even without any clients running it's like watching a slideshow. I'm using Chrome RDP. Thanks in advance and otherwise great idea/ tutorial.

Hi guys. So... I can't get the VPN to run RuneMate because whenever I try to run the client, it says that "We have detected that you have a 64-bit operating system but are using 32-bit Java. Please install the latest 64-bit Java to ensure best performance". Well, I did install the 64-bit Java, but I keep getting the same message. Anybody know why?

Google has a free trial of their Google Cloud servers. You need a credit card to sign up though. Once the free trial runs out (you get 2 months), you can just make a new account and repeat.

This is incredibly useful because you can carry on botting even when your PC is off.

  1. Navigate to Google Developers Console
  2. Create a new developer account
  3. Create a new project - the name and ID don't matter as they are for your reference only.
  4. In the overview of your project, click Compute and then VM instances.
  5. Create a new VM, I used the Windows Server 2012 image. Don't bother trying to pick a Linux image, Runemate doesn't run well on Linux.
  6. Wait a few minutes for the VM to be created.
  7. Click the Connect RDP button

  8. When connected, download the JRE and Runemate
  9. Log in and bot away, for free!
I don't recommend botting 24/7, so you might want to get a script that automatically stops the bot - such as MaxiBotScheduler.

at step 7. I can't see that icon anywhere

**also it haven't charged me anything so I'm not complaining. Also I have 2 runemates running and CPU is at 100%, how do I fix that?

Click on the RDP icon next to your IP.
RM on google cloud will make it go 100% regardless.

I know that lol, the cpu must be shitty if it runs soo high. My pc averages 10% per instance.

Hmm i just found that i've been charged $1.29 by google... don't know what else could have done it. Wonder why that happened...

charges like that are usually to test if the credit card is valid. usually gets refunded in a few business days.

Try using

while cd'd into whatever folder the installer is in.

Hey my bad, I phrased it wrong, what I actually meant was I can download the legacy client but I can't INSTALL it when I click next after the terms and agreement page it brings me that error message . Any fix or alternative ?
