Yeah I've reported the issue to @Cloud, who knows what changed since last release as he's the only one who has added anything since v2.44.0.

As a short term fix, try minimizing the RM client. This has known to reduce CPU usage on my computer by 30-40% Hope that helps.

Its as soon as you start the client, regardless of the script, once the client is closed the game runs fine again. Open the client up and it spikes significantly, and as assumed gets even worse if you try to start a script.

edit: can confirm that minimizing the bot client does allow the game client to run smoother, but lags significantly when the bot client is left open along with runescape client.

Tried every script I had, and is affected regardless of script so that is not the problem. No errors are being thrown out, and the logs appear to be the same.

it was working great with 2 accounts i was able to run 4 before this, without a problem. normally ran 3 though, cant even do that. but just now i got rid of my jagex cache and all that. started one, prime hunter...then i went to start prime thieving, instantly connection lost cuz cpu usage spiked to 100%.... really hope the RM team finds a fix soon cuz im struggling just to bot efficiently :/

it just sucks cuz thats .14 cents gone which is 140k to me.

Yeah within the couple most recent patches this has been quite an issue for me as well. Extremely slow compared to before and uses almost 100% CPU.

EDIT: To be more specific, it hogs resources using any bot at all points. However, when a bot is not being used and the client is merely open, it seems to be almost 0% if minimized, but when alt-tabbed to, it would shoot up to 30-40%. Again, this is even without a bot running.

it also causes more usage in the jagex launchers. its very odd. theres no reason why one osrs client should use 35% of my laptop. its rediculous.

I pushed an update last night that I believe cloud deployed earlier. Have things improved since then for those that were experiencing this before?

Yes, things have definitely improved. Thank you. May I ask what the issue was? Just curious

When I was working on improving the client I forgot to switch the visibility of a certain UI node, causing it to be continually rendered in the background. It was resolved by reinstating that switch.

I feel like it's definitely gotten better, but CPU usage is still ~90 percent for me with 1 bot, whereas before it was only 30-40. Anybody else still having high CPU usage?

I'm very new but also getting 90%+ CPU usage for bot, tried on both laptop and PC with same results, PC runs at 4.4GHz. Getting maxed out, does it for every script so far. Not got anything else running. Using Windows 10 on both platforms. If there is any other information I can easily get for you please left me know

Edit: bot only using about 30% at most, its runescape hogging it like a fat kid hogs cake. Using the RS3 client

Edit 2: Lowered all the graphics settings on RS, without the bot running only uses about 30% CPU, as soon as the bot is running (ie interacting with RS) it jumps to 50%+

Not sure if its relevent, but ive noticed this tends to be worse when you use scripts that have the GUI that goes around in a circle sort of like its loading? Its hard to explain, ill post a screenshot when i get the chance.
