Hi I'm having some issues with the RuneMate linux client, and I'm not sure how to fix them. A screenshot as well as my system info is attached below.

of course, however as far as I'm aware (after some google searches) there is no *official* osrs client for linux, so what do we do?

RSU should work, not sure though. I've never got runescape to work on linux. But to be fair I gave up quickly, i'm not a linux person at all lol.

I had RSU working on Linux when I briefly played around with it on a VPS. But it was a while ago and I can't quite remember all the details, likewise not much of a Linux person.

@OP - Give RSU a go and see if it works for you.

I've got numerous clients working flawlessly on Linux, granted I use linux ONLY. Don't even own a windows computer. What is RSU? Never heard of that one

RSU is the unofficial Linux client for RuneScape.

It isn't made by Jagex but it is something they suggest people use, if on Linux.

I'm late to the party; but if you're still having issues try this guide here:
Tutorial - RuneMate on Linux

The guide is written for Ubuntu, but if you change the "apt-get update" and "apt-get install" to "pacman -syu" then i believe it will work:
Pacman Tips - Manjaro Linux


I can tell you this, your issue from my experience is likely from the java version you have installed.
you need the Oracle Java version, not OpenJDK
