Bug Runemate lags osrs

Also experiencing extremely bad stutter/lag/low FPS whenever i'm running any runemate bot that involves killing monsters.
when bot stops, the RS3 client is fine. whenever I click start script on runemate, game client FPS goes down to like 5.
CPU Intel i7-7700 2.8GHz
RAM 32GB
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080

Edit: does this have something to do with how Runemate is retrieving monster info or other information from the game client that's causing the bad stutter/FPS drops? I've allocated anywhere from 512 to 1024mb RAM to java and done all the uninstall/reinstalling self-help procedures but doesn't seem to fix it.
