Hey there!

After 15 years of not playing I began playing again. Never been boting in my life, but was just curious and interested in trying. My friend gave me 1mil coins, thousand lobsters, runite set and many thousands all kinds of runes. I was amazed how good does Alpha fighter script works, but after 3 days of playing my bank was empty of previously mentioned things. Not pointing fingers but only place I gave my password was runemate bot. (I have a strong password and this password only for runescape).

This seems like a good bot and looking at the forums I can tell this is a honorable community so it is hard for me to believe that I got scammed, but at the same time there is no other way I could loose my stuff. I played for 3 days in which I did not trade or speak to anyone.

What do you all think of this?

No, I did not sign up on nothing. As I mentioned before I did not trade nor did I speak to anyone. Just runemate boting for 3 days.

I know that it is not a lot, but still interesting how it happened. Runite set on me was not taken only the rune plate in bank which i could not wear. Adamantite set was not taken also. Probably scammers have some script with defined things to take I dunno.

One time I logged in and was at the Lumbridge and I know i did not log out there. Just thought that it was strange but never minded. Only a lot later I noticed the missing things.

No malicious code was put into the bots, they're checked before going public.

Yeah you definitely got phished/hacked but it definitely wasn't through RuneMate. Bot authors can't get your account info, and RuneMate admins can't without malicious code (which there isn't any), and even if there was any they definitely wouldn't bother with an account with like $1.50 worth of stuff. People use this bot with bills+.

You probably got phished without realising it, probably clicked some link (likely in an ad or something) and thought it was the runescape site but it wasn't.

Or you have a virus that stole your info (less likely nowadays).
