Tutorial - What Varps and Varbits are, and how to work with them

This great tutorial showed how Varbits and Varps worked based on rune pouches. Unfortunately there seem to not be any varbits associated anymore with rune pouches. Do you guys have any ideas what a good approach would be to emptying and filling rune pouches for runecrafting bots? Is there anything similar to Varbits that encodes the filling state of pouches?

Yes there is a varp (261) for rune pouches but this is usefull when the banktab is open. When you are at an altar and try to check whether the pouches are empty, after emptying just a single pouch the associated varp changes to 0. So e.g. the small, medium and large pouches are full returns a varp value of 7. When emptying one of the pouches this varp value changes to 0, in contrast to when having a bank tab open, this varp will change to 6 indicating that the medium and large pouches are still filled. So if the bank tab is not open and when a pouch is emptied the varp value will change to 0 even though the medium and large pouches are still filled.
So you can't reliable use varps outside of the bank.

I assume you're saying rune pouch instead of essence pouch. For essence pouches, I have been told there is a varp/varbit that changes when your bank is open and you use them. You could also create your own system for tracking the essence in each pouch.

My bad I meant essence pouches. Yes there is a varp(261) that tracks the filling of the pouches, this makes it easy to refill, but these don't work well when there is no bank opened, e.g. you're at an altar trying to empty the essence pouches. Previously it would be really easy with varbits, but I guess I've to come up with some method myself then.
