Anyway, I digress. So, I am new to Runemate, but I've been cheating in online games for longer than half my age. I know these things really well, game developers and "anti cheating squads" lie and gloat about their "anti cheat technology" all the time, but the fact is, we have a statistical advantage as a community cheating a video game that is so big, they want to make sure they get a lock on a target before they ban them. That's where random events come in. Now, I know there is a very specific way I can play the game and induce a random event in ~90-95% of the cases at the exact same spot, conditions, etc. In short, there is nothing really random about it.

I cannot give details because doing so would make Jagex aware of my personal observations, and that's where the "conundrums" come in. In short, I think we have to realize that many clever scripters from the RsBuddy days (and in recent days, in this community) take advantage of various oversights/holes in the system which allow them to cheat. This means that, like many "glitchers", we have to keep certain things "within the community", as to not leak them.

The tactic employed by Jagex which entails buying your competition (Jacmob) predates the gaming industry by large. It's true that they only really did sell out because they considered the "golden age of botting" a market boom to exploit until it died out in a controlled setting.

But you haven't proven or said anything worthwhile in your post, besides using some fancy words and claiming you have information which you aren't willing to disclose.

Who is we? Who falls in this community? What are certain things / them?
Implying something worthwhile is currently being leaked without evidence?

That is how I normally talk. I don't try to "sound smart" or whatever, people do get that impression though just because of how I use a lot of words. I sure didn't make this post just to use "fancy words", and the information in question was that random events are not really random, and if people started keeping track of every time they did get randoms, they would see a pattern, which doesn't really fit the definition of random.

"We" includes the botting community, includes you, includes me, and the party this info needs to be kept from would be Jagex mods. Just look at how one author's transition from game tool designer to being in charge of moderation at the same game caused entire clients which were modelled after that one guy's software to become obsolete. I think you'll find that these things apply generally in the online game cheating scene.
