Suggestion Private/Local bot restrictions hurting the client

Hello,

I have found RuneMate because I have been searching for an RS3 bot for ages, I was relieved when I saw the active forums, joined instantly and was looking to get a bot made.

It was very disappointing to find there wasn't a section on the forums for developers to offer their services. There is the bot requests section, however that is mostly people asking for free bots to be made, and my paid request didn't receive any attention.

I have several friends who develop bots for multiple clients and would have been happy to write me a local bot for RuneMate, in which I would have instantly upgraded to the $10/Month supporter package. But to find out I can only run a local script for 3 hours changed my mind very quickly. I am stuck waiting for someone to be willing to write a bot for me who also has author rank on RuneMate.

Without these restrictions I would have been a paying member already.

Removing these restrictions would net RM more money overall, if that's not possible then adding a private bot development section where authors can offer their paid services would greatly help the client.

Your thread got no attention because there's barely any RS3 users here, never mind authors that are willing to create bots for it.

Explain how? I'm not stating they should be free. I'm saying I would be a supporter already if I could run local scripts.
I'm confused what you're rambling about tbh. Are you complaining that you can only test local scripts for a couple hours if you're not a bot author?

Either upload a simple bot to remove the restriction and run your own local script (if you're writing your own), or if you're buying a private bot from someone have them upload it to the bot store a private and you can use it as much as you want?

Yeah, post in the bot request section or ask your friend to write you a private bot and upload it as private.

And what do you think is netting runemate more money. One supporter running a local bot or one bot author offering public bots potentially attracting multiple supporters?

If you're really asking me that question I feel bad for your financial status.
