Morning All;

I have recently started playing OSRS - I have wondered if it was possible to start botting on my old RS Account.

Back in 2010 my RS account got temp-banned for botting.. the OSRS is running off that account. Is my OSRS account blacklisted for a perma ban if I was to bot or are they separate ?

If the previous ban is still active, the next ban you receive (regardless of game type) will most likely be permanent.

If the previous ban has expired, then the next ban you receive (regardless of game type) will most likely be temporary.

The above are not definitive answers as ultimately it is Jagex's decision what they do to your account.

You have a way higher chance to get permed, temp bans are a 2nd chance.

Thanks for the replies, looking on the account status, the offence was macroing minor, and the offence and penalty have both expired, I understand botting has a risk, but does this make me at a higher risk?

It gives you a greater chance of your next offense being a permanent ban, even if it has expired. (from my own experience)
