Question Moving in with RuneMate use

So after thinking about this for a while I'm finally moving out of my parents house and in with a buddy of mine. Thought it was all nice and dandy until we started talking about what mmo's we like playing lol. When we game together we mainly game on PS4 so didn't know we played RS. Asked him if he bots and he said he's a RuneMate user. I know that if two separate accounts use the same network or whatever is the proper term the botting hours intertwine with each other. Just wanted to know how we would be able to deal with this and still use RuneMate without running into this issue and using each others sperate hours. Any help is greatly appreciated! :D

You are correct. If you are both using the same network and your external (public) IP is the same then your hours will combine.

The way around this is to purchase a supporter package to allow yourselves more hours: Upgrade | RuneMate

Hmm I guess combining our funds on a single account to avoid over charge or double charge on two accounts would be the ideal thing to do just would be a little difficult keeping track of eachothers hours used since botting hours are sometimes inaccurate but regardless thank you for the swift reply as always!

If one person purchases it, that will also allow the other person on the same network to use your hours though.

I understand that but I don't see any reason for both of us to purchase hours separately if they will still both be used if only one of us is using the client. This is why I was asking if there was any way to go around this since in my understanding botting hours would be added to both accounts even if only one of the two accounts were being used. My only concern is how the hours have seemed very buggy recently so it will be difficult to tell how many hours each of us personally uses.

I totally get your point but without that kind of system people would just create new accounts on the forum to get around their limit.

EDIT: Seeing as you both live together, couldn't you just use of of your account to bot on and then keep a lookout for how much each one of you use and then you upgrade the account accordingly?
(Not sure if this would be against the rules.)

EDIT2: Shit I'm tired, just noticed you said this earlier in the thread, lol.

Oh no I completely understand the reason why it's done man I was just not sure if there would be a way for us to send you our info so you guys can see that it wasn't to get around the hour limit. We'll figure something out but again thank you guys for being swift with your help and replies!:)

I have the same issue as you though because I sometimes write my bots in school, which makes anyone in school using the client steal my hours, so I totally get your point :p
Haha that's the worst lol. I'm just glad my brother hasn't figured out about RuneMate because I'd be screwed lol
