I keep getting the "more than two instances running" error. Waiting the 15 minutes did not fix it (Waiting 2+ hours did not fix it either). I restarted my computer multiple times and that did not fix the problem either. Please help!

Did you keep the RuneMate client on during these 2 hours?

I've been getting this issue this evening, and it is the first time it has ever happened to me.

I started one RS3 instance on my laptop at 7:00pm local time, and prior to that had no instances running for ~16 hours.

At 8:00pm I tried to start my second instance on my desktop computer (with the first RS3 instance still running) and got hit with the error.

Closed Runemate, restarted computer, re-opened Runemate and Runescape multiple times and still could not run a second instance.

It has now been a little under an hour and I still cannot run the second instance.

The only interesting thing I noted was prior to loading Runemate on my desktop, I had to update Runemate.

Unsure if this has anything to do with how instances are recorded, however thought I would mention it regardless.

Still getting this issue 24 hours later.

Are you absolutely certain that you don't have any bots running on any other computers? You don't have someone else in your house that bots as well?

Yes, I only have Runemate installed on one computer and I'm the only one running it. It works for a few days at a time, then it gives the error for a couple more days, then it works again. Very odd.

Also have this issue. Cant run any bots
If you close your runemate client forcefully (killing the process for example), runemate wont have the opportunity to notify the server that the sessions are being stopped. You have to wait up to 15 minutes for the server to recognize that you're not running any bots anymore.

Been happening a lot lately to me too. I never force close my instances/Runemate client and yet have still been getting the issue.

I've messaged Arbiter to see if he can add any insight.

So essentially just leave the client open for 15 minutes?

Because Ive had the client open for over 45 minutes and it hasn't changed.

You don't need the client to be open during that period, but 45 minutes sound very suspicious. Might indeed be a bug.

Bumping this thread as I am still getting this issue. Reloading RuneMate, restarting computer and waiting patiently does not fix the issue.

It has been 10 hours since I last used RuneMate, and I can only run 1 of my 3 allowed instances. The last time I ran RuneMate I had two instances and could not run a third.
