Could anyone tell me the most optimal sceptre farming configuration? List every setting please, as I'm not even sure the amount of food/full stam pot vs 1 dose and whether to use lockpick or not. I'm a bit new to pyramid plunder and after watching some videos, It wasn't clear to me how to set up the bot for this. Im currently at 72 Thieving and hopefully looking to get a sceptre or two for some extra cash on the way to lvl 81 for the master clue requirement.

Only getting 26.1k xp per hour with my current settings, maybe some configuration with better xp rate and still decent sceptre rolls would be more benificial?View attachment 16948

You're either there for XP or for a sceptre. If you want a sceptre you want to use lockpick and skip looting urns like you have. You get strength xp for looting sarcs and a chance at a sceptre. Looting urns is for thieving XP.

At such a low level thieving your most time efficient method is to just do the minigame normally because you have a higher chance of a sceptre at higher level floors (81, 91). You can even keep sarcs looting turned on for extra chance, but odds are you'll get one before you even hit 81 thieving

Thanks perfect response! After the trial hour it runs super smooth so great job! I'll adjust accordingly because you're right that the XP will be more beneficial at the moment. I assumed that was the case anyway just wanted to confirm - either do the minigame for XP or do it specifically for farming the sceptre but with much lower XP rates. I was just shocked it was as low as 21k xp but I have since amended my question as I realised it's more like 45k xp per hour. I was tweaking the settings with the bot paused for about 10 mins before that, so the rate seemed much lower than it actually was

Should I be dropping the pottery and stone for better XP rates?

You don't actually need to drop anything, regardless of your inventory space when a player receives the sceptre they are teleported outside the minigame and the sceptre is dropped to the floor. So the bot will have to drop something anyway to pick it up, the setting is for ironman who want to trade in gold artefacts for a lil extra gp

not sure if im doing something wrong, but it doesnt work. i start in castle wars like it says, itll get stuck "opening bank" or itll teleport me to the pyramid, start a game. then get stuck at the first pass. and not do anything tried it 5 different times, from different locations and angles still nothing. going back to pickpocketing

If bots are acting strange it could be as a result of a recent game update or similar. Before starting any more bots, check ⁠announcements to see if the client is down. If it is, wait for further instruction.

If the client is online, try restarting both RuneMate and OSRS. Make sure to close all RuneMate and OSRS clients to ensure everything is updates when they're restarted.

If you're having still issues with bots "not doing anything" then uninstall RuneMate, restart your PC, then reinstall RuneMate. It's not known what the issues are and how they are fixed, but generally reinstalling and restarting seems to do the trick.
