Got my brother his own runemate account, Paid $4 to start him off and when we try to start it we got a message that we hit the limit without even ever using the account.

Already contacted a mod about it and he told me it's a countermeasure against multiple accounts.
Anything we can do to fix it?

Thanks.

The hours used at one single ip get added together. Don't try to get passed that limit without paying. But your issue has 1 answer... You gotta pay more if you've used all the hours

Paying on both my own and his. Even if its combined we should have at least 200 paid hours

Screenshot your entire services page on both accounts and post them here.

As mentioned above, all hours from all accounts on a single external IP address combine.

A $2.00 supporter payment DOES NOT give you more hours. It only gives you the Supporter rank on the forums.

If you want more hours, the minimum payment is $3.00 for 300 hours, with each additional hour granting you an extra 100 hours and 1 concurrent instance.

In regards to your hours usage.

You paid $4.00 on his account to upgrade to supporter status, this would mean his account gains 400 hours usage.

However, as you are both on the same external IP address, your hours usage combines for any given month period. This means if you bot 400 hours in the month, and he creates his account during this time, your 400 hours will appear on his account.

In order to get around this, you would both need to be supporters with a higher supporter package.

My apologies but this is still rather unclear to me. Did we lose those 400 hours then or do we just need to bump it over 400?
So if I would buy another 500h on my account would we then share those 500 hours or would it then make it 900h?

Because you purchased on a seperate account, I do not think the hours add up, I suggest using 1 account and put all money into that.

What is the exact message you receive when it tells you you have hit your limit?

Subscriptions don't stack across RuneMate accounts. Hours stack across multiple RuneMate accounts that are detected as related.

Typically the shared hours would be displayed in the Services page, but it seems that your web browser is preferring an IPv6 stack but your JRE is preferring an IPv4 stack.
