in the beginning i had the same error, but then i went to the settings of runemate and went to compatibility
there i made it run in comp mode for windows 7 and always run as administrator
after that it worked just fine

Where in settings did you change it to compatibility mode? In my settings I only get simple changes like mouse multiplier, force menu interaction, "stay on top", etc.

Right-click the program on your desktop or in its folder, then click 'Properties' and then go to the tab 'Compatibility'

Seriously don't know how to thank you. Quick, simple fix and I'm back to making gains.

Edit: I spoke prematurely. Bots still not loading, but at least stuff is storing in my temp folder!

It actually didn't work. At first thought it did, but turns out still running into the same problems. And I still can't save stuff in my temp folder.

@Cloud @Arbiter Was there ever any fix to the situation?

Mine actually just fixed. What Java version are you on? And do you have admin rights?

most recent version of java, and yes i am admin on the computer

I just reinstalled java, ran as admin and reinstalled runemate, let it load, and try the windows 7 compatibility trick. Now it works just fine.

Damn just tried all of that. still nothing thanks for the help tho. i guess ill have to wait for @Cloud or @Arbiter to help me further
