Hello,

So today i got my 1st 2 day ban on my main account, now i was exactly looking at my screen when this happend, i thought let's atleast say what happend between those small 2 minutes.
So i was cooking and suddenly the bot started acting weird ( it was like if Jagex's their botwatch system was interfering with the script / account. The script when smooth for a good 19 HOURS straight no stops no bugs etc, suddenly it went from the fire away and it stood there for a good 1 minute, suddenly the script started working again and kept going and after that 2 minutes later i received my ban.
Could it be that Jagex's is actually interfering with the account OR script?
I know the algorithms Jagex have implented can check clickings etc etc, but this seemed differently cooking is just click, bank, click, bank, click bank. so i thought just share this with the RM community, maybe developers catch up on this or maybe this was just coincedence.

Even if that's true, what possible countermeasures can you take against it? Useless post. If they interfere your account, it's already to late.

Everthing is possible, if the account suddenly does something the script doesn't want it to do, could the script just not quite? or logout, i am not sure but it seemed really like the botwatch was trying to intefere with it

+it is not an useless post, it's gaining knowledge about how their botwatch work, doesn't mean its TRUE but it can BE true.
That just gives a little more light to their system....

I mean, if you think of it logically:
You don't get banned everytime you get reported, otherwise you'd be fucked everytime you check the chatlog after a 20 hour session and see "ha, you're a bot - reported" in the chatbox..
I've tested long sessions, beyond what would be humanly possible, ive tested different locations etc.

imo. IF they have a system, it would be automated - there's no way a person would sit and look through each reported account.

I've spent some time thinking about it, and ive found it reasonably logical for them to use an automated point system.

Getting reported while fishing; 3 points
Getting reported while doing agility; 2 points
Playing for more than XXX hours in a row; X points
etc.
(if you get the picture..)

so each skill would have a different value of points appointed to it, and when your account has gained X amount of points you get banned by Y time.
And then split it into total level groups;
1500+ into 1 category, for manual processing.
everything below 1500 -> automatic
- and no, it doesnt HAVE to be 1500.. its just an example, since ive noticed that using both a level 3 (fresh) account, and a high level account.. in the same place, with the same session times.. the lvl 3 ALWAYS gets banned faster than the high lvl account (with a higher total level.)

It would also make sence why you could do 100 hour sessions in different places without an issue, like NMZ prime (example) - which is known for its low ban rate. since you're always in an instance, you'd only get X amount of points for running long sessions.. but gain 0 reports thereby 0 points = no ban.

it kinda makes sence tbh, since they would limit the amount of accounts they have to process manually.
And most players report the obvious bots in varrock cutting oaks etc. so they would generate enough points over time to be automatically processed.

But still, what if i had my public chat to off and i dont respond to people doesnt mean i am an botter, secondly the account i have is HIGH lvl total lvl 1700+
I'm not sure what actually triggers it but what i have seen on that moment is that something weird happends to the script your running idk what but i got banned instantly after it restored itself and started cooking again lol.
Oh well, gg 1 day left to be unbanned.

Yes good idea though!
Maybe the botting community ha's to focus more on their detection systems too couse we advance with the day, but they do too!

I recently had 2 out of 3 of my accs banned that we're all doing the same script that i started all at the same time 2 of them got banned and the 3rd continued running normally with no ban.

They we're defintly doing something with the bot detection system because i've been running this same script for the passed yr almost now, and running it on 4 accs.

Also had my main (total level 1900, 300 quest points) banned permanently yesterday. It didn't have any previous botting related ban on it, it was just a straight perm without warning. Pretty strange to me, considering I botted about 3h per day, with breaks while using bots of which i know that they're very good (quantum abyss crafter, prime runespan and nano dungeoneering (nano dung for literally 1h while i babysitted). In addition i have been playing legit every day while doing quests and talking to people etc. I think they have made some big improvements to botwatch very recently.

While @staffix is making a very good point, i think he forgets a large point that i've never seen anyone come up with before. All bots (that i know of) use the legacy client. I'm very sure that they're also taking that into account. Especially for the people that often switch between legacy and NXT client on the same machine. It's such an easy red flag to detect that really distinguishes legit players from (occasional) botters.

If it was automated, why would they need a bunch of people in the anti-cheating team and even have some of those people remain in the office during the weekends? They do have a system and the majority of bans issued are done manually. And if they had a system which banned accounts based on the amount of reports you received, there would be so many inaccurate and false bans it would really hurt Jagex, so that's not possible. If anything, the amount of reports you receive just moves you ahead in the queue for manual investigation.

Go check out new bots and give helpful feedback.

Had something similar happening to my bot earlier this year. My bot started to run off in one direction while it was doing stuff (ex Fishing). But i caught it, and stopped the bot for the day. It was no reason for it run in that direction.
