Can anyone help?

My phone was sent for repair a couple of months ago, screen wouldn't turn on.
All my auth codes were cleared along with everything on the phone when it was returned

Is there an admin that can turn off 2 factor authentication on my other account so I can turn it back on.
Was never emailed codes, enabling on this account i wasn't emailed codes either. However, I found codes and have manually added them to my lastpass notes

That is straight up a BS response.

First of all, if it wasn't mandatory to set 2 FA, I wouldn't have set it.

Regardless of what you think it is, it be like it do.

2FA Exists for your and your account's security.

Backups exist for a reason, if you choose not to save them then that is on you.

I am fine with the fact my account is now "lost" according to you,

but considering other members may spend more time on this than I do, id say your response is pretty unprofessional.

What would you do if you had an apple product, and you forgot your password to your account and the apple employee said bad luck there is no way to reset the device, you should have saved your login info somewhere. Is that the type of response you would expect?

Basically, your issue not mine.

I think a great response should be that one of the admins look at a better way of dealing with this issue?

Look, I appreciate where you are coming from but it is clearly explained why you must keep your back up codes. The reality is, if we were to start "unlocking" the accounts of those who claim they have forgotten their password, lots their back up codes etc. it would significantly increase the risk of people gaining fraudulent access to someone else's account. Emails can be guessed, account creation times are publicly visible etc. etc.

The system is designed to be secure, and with that comes a level of personal responsibility to ensure this is maintained.
