this guy told me he had no bots he could show me. he linked me to a thread where a single person vouched for him. he said hed show me a vid of his bot running and then went "oh i cant actually let you see it run - its a hc ironman account - but heres a vid of some code"

i told him i didnt want to work with anybody who couldnt actually prove they have the ability to make anything and he became irate.

I CAN do it. This moron over here says he will only trust me if I send him my private scripts, I offer to screen share and show them running on my end as well as the source code. I than also provide a reference, but thats not good enough for him unless he can run them on his end.

yeah, he has no public bots free or paid so i cant actually test anything. fuck me silly for wanting to actually run something the guy has made before paying him money up front to have a bot made right?

i also offered to pay him after it was made and tested since hes entirely unproven, no avail. i said he could make a paid bot and id still pay him for making it. also no good. sounds like a complete scam.


edit: and for the record, ive been talking to 2 other people with proven track records and have no problem paying them up front. its just you, the guy who refuses to provide any proof of ability.

also, the reason watching a bot run doesnt do anything to prove its real is you couldnt just paid for your own private bot and are trying to mitigate the costs by scamming people now claiming to have coding ability. surely you understand that

nice. lets hope he chooses to release some paid scripts at some point then. personally im not interested in paying for anybody whose work i cant try beforehand.
