Can jegex detect inhuman mouse movement/same pattern like for exampel a fletching bot has? Or do they only ban if you literally fletch for 4 hours straight? Is it better to fletch/craft/herblore for lets say only 1 hour a day at max? I recently got banned for only 2 days and I haven't really suicidebotted, I don't know what the cause could have been but if it's anything like inhuman mouse movement or something then this is hella scary :S

My guess would be that you were spotted by a J-Mod or reported and got checked out (if it's a 2-day).

I used to bot heavily with powerbot.org back in the days, did questing services and shit was fun.

Is it still possible to maintain an all botted account without a single ban?
So not even a temp ban.
(all botted as in no skill trained without a script.)

It's possible with current bots. I'm in the process of training one myself without applying any manual work.

2. Yes, but avoid Jagex office working hours. It's of course always safer to avoid Blast Furnace.

I had no idea till just recent that Jagex has spots they watch 24/7 lol so thanks for the tip! and yes the Hours a Day and a week I think cos most of my suicide bots that go for 12 houes+ then take a break to get banned inside a week or less.. learned that the hard way 50 email ACC's later lol XD

25+ banned accounts here, because I like to test different botting practices and push the limits and see what I can get away with. So what I've observed is that you can get away with chatting IF you pause the bot, talk in cc or whatever and then click to resume botting.

However, regularly chatting DURING botting will get you banned. Especially because a lot of the bots here seem to use the arrow keys to move the camera, so if you chat away during that, it's an obvious red flag. Pause the bot, then chat, then play. Keep the mouse and keyboard inputs blocked if you care about the account.

Also I wouldn't do any skills by hand that you've heavily botted. Your play style most likely won't be similar to the bots, this is especially true with combat bots. Two very distinct playing patterns is an easy giveaway.

And account age is irrelevant as long as you don't bot like a retard and go 12+ hours a day with no breaks. You might get away with more on older accounts, but nothing is guaranteed.

I also bot during the Jagex office hours daily (EU timezone), in hotspots and in f2p as well and get away with it easily. So I think people keep over inflating the importance of avoiding it.
1) Just keep your hours human like (I've found 4-10h botting per day to be the sweet spot with small breaks every 1-3h and occasional afk'ing);
2) Have a name and combat level that doesnt negatively stick out in a hot spot and scream 'bot'. And don't look like the default bald character;
3) Use a bot/setup up the bot so it looks as human-like as possible. Eg. I see a lot of people set up mining and woodcutting bots (on accounts that obviousy weren't meant for suiciding) incorrectly and they stand out like a sore thumb. Observe what your bot is doing and test different locations/radiuses before you allow it to work on it's own for extended periods of time.

Have all three done correctly and you can bot at any hour you want without worrying about bans. I could keep on going, but this post is long enough I think lol. I could write an essay at this point on the things I've personally learned and things I've found to be true/false about some of the recommendations here and elsewhere...

I have a small (maybe useful) addition to this which I just posted on this thread: Ban Coincidences - My findings (how to proceed)

I had an account banned whilst doing Wintertodt for the past few days. I have done many hours botting Wintertodt including multiple 99s and have not been banned on those accounts.

The only difference with this account is that I botted it shortly after a game update and before the Runemate client had been updated to suit. In this time I got 2-3 exception thrown errors whilst trying to run the bots. A couple of days later, account was banned after multiple hours of Wintertodt.

All of this ties in with the post here: Mod MMG on Myths and Misconceptions:

Since 2013 we brought a range of next generation anti-botting technology allowing us to detect all bots within hours with 100% certainty. We ban bots at random intervals a few days after first detection so that they never know exactly how they were detected.

I think these exception thrown errors are a big blip on Jagex's radar and will automatically get you banned (perhaps a few days later to throw the user off the scent).

To avoid this I believe you should use bots that you know work properly, and maybe avoid botting straight after game updates.

i Always Get banned when using a proxy or a vpn.. I’ve noticed that with proxy and vpn I can not log into my profile on osrs home page, and I guess that’s a flag when logging into account

I've been botting the same 3 skills on F2P for the past 6 months, 12-16 hours/day every single day, and have never taken a break longer than 5 minutes. So far, no bans yet. I don't know if the bans have been less common nowadays or if it's because I'm using custom scripts with a colorbot, but I am very surprised I haven't been banned yet.

I have a feeling that the less efficient your bot is, the less detectable it is too.

Caught my first ban today on an alt I was leveling. Did like 99% of it by hand (account is maybe 2'ish months old) and decided to use a one-tick magic bot for like 2 hours I used in the past on my main and got banned

In hindsight I was retarded using a one-tick bot on a new'ish account. I botted most of my main to 99, but most of the skilling leading up to 99 was by hand, but some were almost entirely botted, like fishing was virtually 100% botted for several hour stretches with no bans.

I think the truth to all of this is mostly what OP stated. It's a temp 2 day ban on the alt, but I don't even want to bother with it anymore since it's high risk now.

1-tick prayers are hot across all clients at the moment, and have been for a long time. It's worth finding bots that offer lazy flicking where possible.
