Hi all I'm new to the whole botting scene and want to bot my 96-99 divination, what are the ban rates with these scripts ? Or are they very rare ? I'll be botting around 6 hours per day, thanks.

If you're going to be botting for that long then it's highly dependent on what script you're running.

Well if you bot 6 hrs straight every day, you could get banned pretty fast. But randomize the hours you bot , take breaks and train other skills, then there isn't much risk.

The client itself is undetected as of this moment. The only time I've been banned is by suicide botting or my script got stuck. Compared to shitbot where I get banned in <48 hours

Guys so far I am impressed I have been suicide botting a f2p account doing willows, I am currently level 89! So that's a pretty sick achievement!

Bot smart guys, and somewhere far away from people

The tl;dr to bot detection is that Jagex has developed (or can develop at any time) models for how humans behave (acceptable ranges for online time, algorithmic estimates for effects of tiredness, behavioral similarity to common botting practices, etc.) and have each of these models act as flags. Set off too many of these flags and you get the banhammer.

P.S. Oversimplification for verbosity's sake. Surely the flags are weighted, ranges statistically distributed, etc. As a disclaimer, these explanations are purely speculative, but if I know Jacmob half as well as I think I do and I am half as intelligent as he is, this is the way he would do it because it's the way I would do it.

P.S.S. All this being said, I would imagine most bot clients aren't even getting into the behavioral analysis portion. There is probably a tier one non-intensive analysis that is done to catch the clients that have fallen for Jagex's traps and/or utilize hacks/shortcuts that are easily detected. That would explain why certain bot clients are being called out by name by Jagex and accounts being banned simply for logging in through the client without even running a bot.

Basically, Jagex uses a ton of different factors to determine if a player is a bot or not and if too many flags are raised then the ban hammer will fall. I would say botting with RuneMate is extremely safe if done right. The reason for this is that RuneMate covers quite a few of the behaviors that Jagex analyzes, but there are a few factors that RuneMate cannot control like reporting players and script behavior.
If your intent is to hop onto the game and train a new F2P account straight to a 99 without doing anything else I would say that would be much more on the dangerous side, as someone new to the game would probably spend a lot of time training skills in unison. So to avoid ban rates I would say to change up your behaviors and try to blend in with the crowd.

There are quite a few things you should do to prevent your account from being banned:

Hello everybody,

Remember that there is always the risk of getting banned and that if you don't want to lose your account, you simply shouldn't bot. Your aim is to simply blend in with the crowd. Your goal is not only to convince Jagex that you're not botting, you also have to convince the players around you. After all, if they report you, you're bound to be put on some sort of watch list.

The account itself:
For best results, your account should meet at least most of these criteria
  • The account should be at least more than 6 months old; username login accounts are perfect
  • Don't look like a bot; get a fancy outfit but don't wear unusual items to avoid people asking you about it
  • Have every skill trained; there is nothing more suspicious than a level 3 with all stats one but 80+ Woodcutting
  • Have some useful quests done and wear quest items; the standard botter doesn't do quests
Your botting techniques:
Where to be and how to behave when botting
  • Make sure you use high quality bots; it is a known thing that Jagex checks for patterns and the like
  • Avoid any location that is often used to bot at; Jagex checks botting hotspots often, so do 'bot hunters'
  • Don't bot the same thing day after day; keep switching between skills or methods every other day
  • Do things bots don't do; complete a quest regularly, do farm runs, buy/sell things, etc.
  • Talk and interact with the players around you; say hi, ask things like "Whats the best method to 80 Cooking?"
  • Don't bot long; keep it under 12 hours a day and randomly don't login for a few days or only for a few hours
STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

TL;DR: RuneMate covers the some of the technical things Jagex looks for, you need to blend in with the crowd by acting like the crowd, avoid looking like a bot, do these and you can easily avoid a ban.

Safer than sex with a girl on birth control using a condom with her tubes tied.

Make sure you don't have a schedule (wake up at 7 am, run it from then until 1 pm, then repeat the cycle every day), if you do it at random times and sometimes take a break for a day you'll throw them off.

Yeah i try to do that. Tbh even if i leave it un-attended my internet connection is not stable at all, so it'll dc me and then i wont be there to log back in. So that saves me a few hours of being logged in.
