The truth of the matter is no bot is perfect. Most are extremely bugged and you have to stop and start mutiple times to get it to work right. This means every time you hit that play button and it doesnt work you get charged. Iv'e probably been charged x2 what is should've in the long run and its not worth using anymore. Cents or not idc where do i go about refunding and why did the developers make it this way? It's pretty dumb and seems like it's just a advantage.

Firstly, what you should go ahead and do is report it to the author, what it is that's causing you these issues.

No bot is hard to use and setup correctly in all honesty, coming from a user myself to a bot author, infact, it's very simple to understand.

I would speak to the author of the bot that you're having issues with then speak to them about a refund, please do know that authors aren't obligated to refund if it's down to user error.

User error... The feedback being littered with the same thing i'm saying is not user error. Going through the bot author is a useless thing to do. I never said any bot "was hard" I said that no bot is perfect and won't work the way you intend them to, causing you to have to change stuff on the fly quiet often unless you're pretty familiar with said bot. But every fuckin time you hit that play button you're charged. So bot error (not user error) and does not work so you're changing stuff to see what works. Bam you restarted 5 times in 10mins so see which way works withsettings and now im charged 50cents for 0mins of work. Make that make sense and I will go to the bot author.

I have a total of 2.50c worth of charges in the past two days for paybe 4-5hrs worth of botting. Thats a fucking problem. Because 5-10mins after the bot starts it has some sort of issue, this is across several DIFFERENT authors. I'm pretty pissed tf off about it. Every single update there is issues and fixes so there's really no perffect bot. May work one day fine and the next day shit. May be perfect and after 1 update go to shit. You can go to any script you find and see bugs littering the comments. Saying the same thing I am. As iv'e said before overall, iv'e legit been charged double what i should have and iv'e been saying this is seperate threads for fuckin months. I say it because it's the truth and we're getting robbed. Whoever's idea who made the charging system is the real issue here. Tbh no sane person would think to do it the way it's been done unless they jusy thought a few cents nobody is gonna pusue or care about and did it foe xtra $$$, looking like the latter to me

Right okay firstly, I suggest you read this
Tutorial - Billing and Payment FAQ

Secondly, there are free TRIAL bots on the bot store for a reason. USE THEM. You can use the bot for on average a hour upto 7 hours on trials depending on what the author has set it to. No bot public will ever be tailored to your specific usage unless you ask them (the author) to modify it or private access it for you. It's just a generic bot that will do said activity in a way that it's programmed to.

At the moment, we've had a few issues (not down to the authors) but Runelite and Runemate connections/communication since Runelite seem to do a dodgy update every few days and it throws Runemate off until it's fixed. If you could provide logs, screenshots of the error that you get and contact the author, we could assist you further but at the moment you're raging about something that we can't control because you've not given any constructive information for us to work from. I'm not trying to be a dick here but you need to understand that with no information apart from "I want a refund bot didn't work as expected getting errors" or whatever, that is useless. We can't work from that at all. Tell us what is going wrong, provide information, give us the error, we can only help you if you help us.

I will agree with you on one thing though, the payment system when starting bots do need to be reworked and even us authors have been asking for it for awhile now due to refund requests left right and center. Unfortunately, it's not something that has been approved and set it stone as of yet but it's been requested.

You can see the request where I completely agree with the user.

Request - Charge people fairly for scripts

I hope you understand that we are trying to make this community better for users and authors. Sadly, you can't just blame the authors for everything.

In regards to you stating that anybody can become a bot author, you're right and wrong at the same time. Premium bots are very tricky to get on the bot store if I'm honest, they must meet certain requirements which are checked by the executives of Runemate. HOWEVER. iirc, free bots must meet certain requirements but not as much, since they're free and no user will be charged for the usage (apart from your free hours for the month).

Iv'e done that multiple times. I never even got a response so here I am. I can blame the authors. It's not my bot, they didn't even respond to me. I had to go into the forums to make threads to even get an answer. Wtf is wrong with this

Most bots will or should let you change settings on the go. That alone invalidates your point of having to restart everytime something isn't perfect.

There's such a big majority of users that are running bots for incredible long sessions, that it's weird of you to think that bot authors are at fault every time you have to restart and pay again. Most authors will be happy to guide you through setup and figure out what's wrong on your end regardless.

Reviews are often used as a bug report (or user error) section and frequently don't reflect a bots real potential at all. It's a vocal minority.

Hi, you reach out to the developer of the bot to request a refund - there is (currently) no unified process.

The goal of this payment model is to make things fair by ensuring that you pay for what you use, and reduce the barrier to entry when it comes to trying new bots. This means that if a user has a problem with a bot, then rather than an upfront $15 charge, they would only have paid $0.15. We charge on session start for two reasons:
1. To prevent abuse.
2. To cover the platform expenses.

Many bots offer trial versions so you can be sure the paid version works before you pay anything. Naturally, not everyone sees the benefits of this system the way that we do, and that's fine. On this platform you should find that approaching active bot developers with a level head will result in them helping to resolve your issue. If a developer isn't active, then there's not much that can be done - if their bots break they will not be used, fall to the bottom of the store and eventually be removed.

If you're talking about my bots I've already replied in our DM's, I have no messages from you prior to 2 hours ago so I hope you're not exaggerating for added effect about not receiving any replies.
