In this case, it is possible to achieve 40k experience an hour. Which is still extremely low. The issue appears to be the slow interaction which I find peculiar. In each interaction attempt the action menu is opened with the correct action available. Nonetheless, the interaction method in the API still thinks something is wrong and refuses to click the right action, despite it actually being there.
