Bug Failed to Bind

Getting an error to the tune of "failed to bind, please update runemate and client". My OSRS client is up to date and I ran the updater from the Runemate root folder. Now it is incapable of beginning an instance, just tries to load but never completes with no errors. Not sure what happened, went to bed last night after using it just fine. Woke up this morning to this error when attempting to use the client. Suggestions? Thanks!

I uninstalled the Runemate client and deleted my user/runemate directory. Afterward I re-downloaded and reinstalled the client then allowed it to autoupdate from scratch. Appears to have resolved the bind issue. Just thought I would share.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, but still have this issue. Anybody have any other ways to fix it please? And are mods looking into this issue?

Did you try deleting the runemate folder under your user directory after uninstalling, prior to reinstalling? There are configuration files that are retained even after uninstalling. Typically you can find this under the following directory - c:/Users/[your computer profile name]/runemate.

Uninstall, delete that runemate folder after uninstalling and then reinstall, it will recreate this folder and it's files. That's why I had to add that extra step in there. Hope it helps.

Thank you for your help.

I tried this and it still didn't work. Do I just have to delete the runemate folder (that is in the location you mentioned) after I have uninstalled it?

I am STILL having this issue. I have tried multiple ways to fix it. Is this being looked into?
