CuppaJava submitted a new resource:

Cuppa Pickpocket - Cor blimey mate, what are ye doing in me pockets?

v46JYYV.png

Pickpockets many different NPCs. Supports banking, dodgy necklaces and intelligent, human-like clicking.

The bot supports pickpocketing ALL NPCs that can be pickpocketed, but only currently supports banking for some NPCs.

General Features:
  • supports pickpocketing ALL npcs and supports banking as SOME locations
  • supports selecting...

Very nice script, flawless and reliable! You can really run it without being afraid to be banned.
BUT, the xp/h on this script is too low, for example - I am 80 thieving and while this bot gains 70k xp/h i can gain about 111k xp/h (and I am not clicking like crazy man lol).
For 2 cents per hour I can accept that, but if the price will grow, i expect more xp/h.
Thank you!

Hi Cuppa,

Great bot (as usual). As others have mentioned, xp rates are significantly lower than expected from manual action or previous bots I've used. While I fully appreciate that this bot is best in class for safety, is it possible to add toggles to increase click speed (while maintaining the random afks, and variable click times/locations)? Thanks!

Hey! This could be a couple different things causing this honestly. Which location/NPC were you noticing this at? From my experience the pickpocketer gets near-max xp/h when clicking a relatively stationary NPC (eg ardy knight being splashed on), whereas it can slow down a bit on NPCs that move a lot due to runemate's mouse being a bit sluggish sometimes. Also are you far zoomed in/out, and is the screenmode fixed or resizable?

Thanks for the response!

I'm using ardy knight in splash tiles (fully stationary), and using medium zoom on resizable classic layout.

If you have suggestions for optimal/safe settings, I'm happy to learn haha

Hmmmm okay yeah that should be good. The whole "smart clicking" thing uses a bit more computational power so it's possible that it's a bit more variable on different PCs.

Have you tried it with "smart clicking" disabled? The non-smart clicking is arguably more human (it has a more consistent rhythm, as it doesn't pay attention to what the NPC is doing (besides if we're stunned of course)). I might need to fix up non-smart-clicking though, I'll take a closer look at this stuff soon.

Thanks, Cuppa. I've tried with both smart clicking on and off, and while there is a slight difference in xp rates, it still is much lower than expected.

For some numbers:
- Cuppa bot with smart clicking ON: 83k xp/hr
- Cuppa bot with smart clicking OFF: 89k xp/hr
- Expected XP rates (based on wiki with the appropriate level, and validated by human playing): 150k xp/hr

This is a pretty sizable difference. The root is definitely the 'Click Speed Modifier' you have on. 1.4+ click speed modifier provides significantly better xp rates than below that, obviously. However it seems the bot uses between 1-1.2 for the vast majority of time I watch it.

No rush cause I'm sure you have a lot on your roadmap (across all bots), but an ability to set thresholds for the click speed modifier, similar to how we can create our own breaks, might be a solid improvement for those willing to reduce safety for the sake of speed.
