Coins gone

Was casually using the ISlayer script when I was promptly logged out and couldn't log in. Was at the lesser demons and when I was able to log back in i was at G.E. After that my coins were gone. About 4M, not that it's much but what has happenend? Can anyone help me?

The only site i filled out my details were with runemate. And it seems kind of weird it only happened today after using runemate firstly today??

If you have downloaded any other software it may be the case you were hacked via them. Software such as stat boosters are notorious for containing malware.

I did not receive any gp today so i can assure islayer has nothing to do with it.

Nor has runemate.

The only scenario where runemate could possibly have been involved in this is the following:
Someone has access to your runemate account, and started any bot which would automatically log into your account ingame.
This can easily be prevented by using 2 Factor Authentication (which runescape offers as well btw).

I did not receive any gp today so i can assure islayer has nothing to do with it.

This is a discussion which has happened many times in the past, 90% of the time the user finds that they were compromised another way. The other 10% don't care and will just blame RuneMate regardless of what they find.

The only scenario where runemate could possibly have been involved in this is the following:
Someone has access to your runemate account, and started any bot which would automatically log into your account ingame.
This can easily be prevented by using 2 Factor Authentication (which runescape offers as well btw).

They'd also need access to your RuneMate TFA, as we enforce it's use.

ive had hundreds of millions on my accounts and have never been hacked, only once when i allready cleared bank to sell acc so hacker got nothing.

You sure you didnt get phished from a fake runescape website? not gonna lie i fell victim to one of those fake streams and tried logging on the rs website for "double xp" and ended up getting hacked. runemate wouldnt risk their reputation for 4m just saying.

I did the same thing years ago when I found a site offering Runescape3 beta. Of course that was before RS3 and before I learned my lesson lol.
