Everytime i close client and reopen it i cant login until i update. I use the auto updater file in folder and it says its latest version. I have to reinstall client every time i use it to open it and its a pain in the ass. Am i missing something?

Nope, had the same problem when doing it via an IDE as well. Does not auto-update @Cloud

That's because it doesn't update through the IDE or sdk mode (can't remember which). It's a separate issue.

I believe you need to be an admin or equivalent for the auto-updater included with the installer to work.

Standalone does not auto-update. This is intentional. Don't use standalone.

I'm actually also having this issue. There were two updates that were pushed out on RM pretty fast (maybe 30 minutes between them) and then it just broke the auto-updater for me.

fyi, I have a .bat file when I want to run in sdk mode and it just looks at the .jar that the auto-updater downloads, when an update happens I just launch the installed RuneMate so the auto-updater can execute.

I just downloaded the standalone client so I can still do stuff in the meantime.
