EDIT: FIXED BY MYSELF. CHANGING LOCATION OF JAGEX CACHE HELPED ME (A symbolic link)

  1. Move jagexcache (mine is located at C:\Users\Aaron\jagexcache) to a new hard drive or wherever
  2. Open a command prompt (may have to be admin, unsure) and cd to C:\Users[you] or wherever.
  3. Execute the command mklink /d jagexcache <new location of jagex cache>
(MY cache file was in D disk, found this guide, just changed it from D to C->users[where runemate cache appears])

Hey,
I'm new to runemate, I'm trying everything to make it work, but seems like it just wont.

Simply nothing happens oncei start an instance, just green circle appears for a second.

Windows 10 Home 64bit.

C:\Users\XXX>java -version
java version "1.8.0_161"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_161-b12)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 25.161-b12, mixed mode)

1.Disabled firewall
2.No antivirus
3.Deleted java/runemate, reinstalled both or just exe runemate so it could download java automatically.
4.Tried manually launching .jar file with javaw (jre x86)

[Debug] Java Home: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_161
[Debug] Java Version: 8u161 x86 (Oracle Corporation)
[Debug] Maximum Heap Size: 248MB
[Debug] RuneMate Version: 2.79.4
[Debug] Operating System: Windows 10 x64
Checking for a new game client every second for two minutes or until one is found.
Found a new game instance after 5 seconds.

well it worked for me because runemate cache and runescape cache was in the different disks, i just took jagexcache to the same folder where runemate cache appears (for me was C->users->runemate and D->users->jagexcache, i just took jagexcache to C where is runemate with the steps above)

i found that making a junction link (mklink /J jagexcache <new location of jagex cache>) tends to work better, and has fixed the issue for me in the past, and again on a new win10 install

I’m having the same issue where I start an instance and it loops back to the start instance button without actually starting it, was this the same issue you had?
