Bug Bot kept going but the game froze.

Hi

Last night I've been running a bot called MaxiWoodcutter (charge: 0.08$/h).

The bot ran for 7 hours and 15 minutes (I was asleep during that timeframe).

However, when I woke up & checked, Runemate was still running, but the game froze probably after 15 minutes already.

Effectively, my character only had 15 minutes of botting effectively, but I was charged for 7 hours+ (Balance down 0,64$ (8h charge).

Is there any way I can get this amount of money refunded to my RuneMate account? Because It literally ran for hours on a paid service, but effectively got nothing out of it.

Thx =)

Logic = got a problem with a product, go to the store where you bought the product.
What you're doing = bought a product, complaining about it on the side of a random highway.

conclusion = go to the maxi woodcutter page and post it there.

Same thing happened again with another one 5 minutes ago. It happens when my character travels from A to B, let's say to bank stuff after gathering.
Since it just now happened with another script, it might be some problem with Rune Mate App in General?

It just Freezes the OSRS client when it has to do running around far (like cut trees & bank is a noticeable distance away, it has to load another chunk or something, then it just freezes the Client, but the bot keeps going (so it charges but your character is already logged out for being idle)

It's hard to say as I don't know a ton about those specific bots, but this sounds like a bug that causes the game client to crash sometimes. Like Staffix said, the best place to post this would be on the relevant bot's discussion thread so you can get specific help, but here's my general advice:

If the OSRS game client is crashing for you, or you're seeing a message from Runemate telling you to 'apply a patch', try applying the patch, and then restart OSRS & Runemate before trying again.

If it still doesn't work, or the game client crashes without showing a message about patching, follow the fix instructions in this video by Party:

Also, if you're seeing this issue when botting using RuneLite, please try using the regular client, as the RuneLite client still has some bugs.

This was the kind of advice I was looking for, thanks so much for the tips, I'll try them out!
Indeed this morning I had a prompt to apply a patch, but the weird thing was, that the same freezing happened a few hours later, using / trying another bot.
I'm not using RuneLite, just the OSRS client.

Thanks!
