I just started botting not even a week ago. I was botting WC about 5 hrs a day for 5 days maybe 4. World was one of lowest F2P pop.
Ive had my account since 06 sadly. :/

mistake #1, ppl will ask questions and if u never respond they will report u. on more crowded worlds there will be more woodcutters so less chance on a report if u dont answer questions

I was there watching my bot most of the time though, when people would accuse me id laugh it off and be like "Yes i got the new one where i can type and act human" and they'd usually try to play it off like they weren't talking to me or something.
 
I didn't think I would get banned so quickly, i see so many bots all over RS that dont even change the way the character looks and somehow they arent banned..

If they've reported you already it doesn't make an awful lot of a difference. You were playing on a F2P account botting a hot-bot skill for several consecutive hours.

Honestly, sometimes the best advice is just to blend in
