*i looked for where to post this but couldn't find anywhere, hopefully someone will put this in the right spot instead of just deleting it.*
So the other day i got banned. im just posting this to ask some questions and for some general discussion.
I had been botting agility among other skills for close to a month with no issues after returning to RS3 in march.
Yesterday i was on RS through Runemate and my bot froze up. i got frustrated at the wheel and opened up runescape gameclient while my bot(runemate) was still open. i exited the runemate then logged in on the proper runescape applet.
at the time i got banned, i was finishing the quest shades of mor'ton (hope thats right) and was not even botting. i was disconnected rebuilding the temple and when i tried to log in it said 48 hour ban.
this has lead me to believe that the games have different IP address or something that was a noticeable difference they were able to detect. Otherwise had they already discovered i had been botting earlier and just delivered the ban at that moment jw if anyone has experienced something similar or has any insight.
tbh not sure what i was thinking opening them both up and switching from 1 to the other so quickly. anyway since this all has happened i have received 2 messages il attach both if i can but both seem automated.
