THIS WAS NOT DONE MY RUNEMATE.... THIS SITE IS 1000% secure, no one can see your information, no one here would risk the reputation of the site nor its founder to steal an account. Check your computer for malware, keyloggers etc. could have even been phished, but It was NOT and I mean NOT RM or anyone here

1. You downloaded an unofficial RuneMate client from another host. [check the dl link]
2. Your pc is infected with virusses/keyloggers or you used a "gold-generator" or some other fake shit. [scan your pc with Malwarebytes]
3. Perhaps you logged in from a new IP, and Jagex locked your account as it might be "hacked" in their eyes.
4. You forgot the password.

Pretty sure I'm not stupid enough to try gold generators or fake shit. I'll check the PC, although I'm pretty sure it's okay. I definitely didn't forget the password- like I said, I don't think I'm that stupid. The runemate client is legit.

I think Jagex will send an email to the email you used for that account.

dude, the account is locked doesn't mean it was stolen. I played on my VPN by accident and my account got locked. Just reset password through the email

I'm going to go ahead and lock this as many different users above have given you possible answers to the issue you are facing and these threads often deteriorate.

As has been mentioned, RuneMate did not steal your password. As soon as you enter your password in to RuneMate, no one at our end has access to it as it is encrypted.
