I'm sorry you got banned. Unfortunately that's always a possibility when botting. As a note, if you used any other bots recently it's possible it's from one of those.

Out of curiosity, were you botting on Vanilla or Runelite? It's not proven, but anecdotally users seem to be facing a lot less bans using Runemate on Runelite rather than Vanilla.

I don't necessarily recommend botting on a temp banned account that you care about, as Jagex seems to watch temp banned accounts a lot closer, but if you bot another account/in the future I'd try out botting on Runelite if you haven't already.

I promise the bot works well. It sounds like Runemate is giving you trouble/bugging out on your end, which is not something I can change in my bot, but if you want to PM me/give me some more info I can try to help you out.

Reviews really aren't the place for this kind of debugging though as we can't properly discuss.

Regarding "it hasn't won a game yet", I'm confused as this can't really be the fault of the bot. The bot is intended to be run in mass worlds where the bot's behavior doesn't really even impact the game much, are you running it solo? But the bot actually plays the minigame pretty optimally on mass worlds so it should have a positive impact on mass games anyway.

Regarding the crashes, I'd need more info on exact error messages to help, but these are always from Runemate. I've gotten no GotR crash logs.

I recommend botting on Runelite. If Runelite is bugging out for you, it's likely due to incompatible plugins so please try disabling all plugins (you can favorite what you had enabled so you don't lose them). Otherwise it may be cache related, which you can close osrs/rm and clear the game cache. For runelite that's found at:
%USERPROFILE%\.runelite\jagexcache\oldschool

For vanilla it's found at:
%USERPROFILE%\jagexcache\oldschool

Yeah Runemate is largely broken today due to the recent update. Client devs are looking into it and will hopefully have it fixed soon (it's kinda outside my control).

Yeah, I've had my eye on this game update for a while. Will be added within the next few days (probably the next Cuppa GotR update).

Hey, the bot definitely works as I'm using it currently. Sometimes Runemate can just have trouble reading the game data. I'll send my general debugging advice below.

If you are botting with Runemate on Runelite, try disabling all plugins as some can interfere with bots (you can star/favorite them so you don't lose track of which you had enabled).

Otherwise, this sounds like the type of issue that is usually a temporary Runemate bug. You may be able to fix it by restarting OSRS & Runemate before trying the bot again.

You can also try closing OSRS/Runemate & clearing your game cache (instructions on this page https://support.runescape.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360001441169-How-to-clear-your-cache-#OSWin, the Runelite game cache is found at %USERPROFILE%\.runelite\jagexcache\oldschool).

Feel free to test using the lite version of the bot so you don't get charged while testing.

If the issue persists or this doesn't help, let me know.

I'm sorry you got banned. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, bans are always a possibility, as you know.

If you have any further feedback on specific ways you think the bot could be improved/to reduce risk (eg. unnatural behavior or getting stuck at all), please feel free to let me know. Otherwise it's a bit tough for me to make actionable changes.

Typically I just recommend using Autobalance unless you have other specific needs, and unlock as many quest altars as possible for better profit/points/xp.

Also use lunars for NPC contact and pouches if possible. Smaller settings like using/not using cells are personal preference and don't make a huge impact. Theoretically, using cells provides slightly more xp for slightly less profit, but disabling cells entirely might be good if the bot doesn't seem to do it often (if other players are too fast).

Dropping runes etc is all really minor personal preference as well.

If you used any other bots within the past couple weeks it is also possible they could have contributed to the ban, as Jagex often delays bans. But I am sorry either way.

I am open to making tweaks, but honestly I'm a bit unsure what specific tweaks would make it "more human". You can definitely PM me/post on the bot thread, and I can take another look at it myself, but yeah I'm not totally sure atm.

Hey, I'm sorry it lost the colossal pouch, that's annoying.

It's functionally impossible for the bot to drop the pouch, so I don't think that happened. But it sounds like the pouch likely degraded (they degrade with usage until they disappear).

If your active spellbook isn't lunars, or you don't have the level/runes required for npc contact, the bot will default to using the pouch until it breaks. So please make sure you have the spellbook active & runes for it, in the bank at leats but preferably in a Rune pouch.

If you have the above already, I suppose it's possible it's some very rare bug? Not totally sure. But with the above it shouldn't happen.

Can you please PM me or post on the bot thread with more info on what specifically looks "abnormal"? You mean when it paths from the entrance to the eastern area? Or back?

I'm just not totally understanding what needs to be improved here honestly, it just takes the shortest path (with randomization).
