I realize there might not be an answer for this but I'm curious. I'm an iron who completely burnt out on the CG grind and quit. Came back after a few months, installed a CG script I ran about 1-2 hours a day. 80 kc later, I snagged an enhanced and I'm hooked again. Probably just should've stayed legit but here I am. It's been 2 days since I got the enhanced, and I'm curious if I should expect a ban in a couple days or so.

So as you mentioned, there's no real answers and all we really have are speculation and theories.

That being said, in my opinion, it's kind of a case of diminishing risk of ban over time after you've stopped botting. Meaning (in my opinion) jagex mostly hands out bans 24-48 hours after botting, but can delay it a few more days a week. Rarely they delay it for longer than a week. I mean it's possible, but I've very rarely heard of people who stopped botting and then got banned 1-2 weeks+ later.

Hopefully that helps, that's just my understanding anyway.

As an aside, especially for built up accounts (like SotE accounts) they usually temp ban first and only perm ban if you continue botting. No guarantees or anything, as they can perm randomly, but what a lot of people do is bot on their high level accounts until a temp ban & then stop botting after that. That's what I do.
