Hey,

I'm aware this question has been asked over and over but I've done a tonne of research and I still cant figure it out.

The proxy and client link that I've seen posted a lot seems to be set up for http proxies not socks5.

I've also seen people mention the use of a third party software to open the rs client through a proxy but the proxy and client link doesnt shed any light on that.

How on earth do you connect rs through your socks5 proxies!!

Thanks squidl, appreciate the pointer. I've spent the last 2 days trying to get these things to work but I'm not having any luck. I used a software called Widecap which worked but the clients wouldnt get recognised on runemate for some reason. I've also tried using proxifier but it won't successfully check any of my proxies even though they worked when I was using widecap. Any ideas on how I can get this all up and running with proxifier?

Proxifier works great. I can't imagine what could be wrong with it. I'm using socks 5 with proxifier.

maybe it's something on my end with my proxy provider? any idea of what I can do to resolve this? (i'm new to all this proxy stuff so apologies if this is basic)

EDIT: If i assign my proxy via proxifier then go on google and look up what my ip is, I'm shown my unproxied ip.
EDIT2: finally managed to resolve all the issues. god damn that was confusing.

Look for tutorials, how to setup proxifier. I have only runescape connections through proxi, others are unproxied. It is quite flexible.

Hey I'm having difficulty setting up the proxies as well, the proxies work but the client won't launch any scripts, giving me the error "agentinitializationexception". When I launch the scripts w/o proxies they seems to work w/o problems. I can also play on the client w/proxy w/o problems

The problem is not that I can't run the client w/proxies. The scripts wont run at all giving me the error "agentinitializationexception". This error does not occur when I'm botting w/o proxies
