I dont remember how long the session is, but after a while you usually get the message " your game session has ended" and you'd have to restart the game client, is this also the case when botting? so if i wanna bot 24/7 do i have to restart regularly?

Yes, in RS3 there is a 23 hour limit after which your account gets logged off and you have to restart the client. That's also the case if you disconnect.
