Ran into a very similar issue; try the steps at the bottom of my thread:

Note my guide assumes you're using Oracles Java; if you're not i make no guarantees it will work.

Correct, however i had issues with that version; perhaps because i have Oracle's Java installed already. Hence my fix in my post.
