RuneMate is expensive

I think it's a great and clean bot but honestly, I really hate the subscription model on here. it is really expensive. Sure it's nice to pay by the hour to try a bot and see if it's good but after that, it gets costly to run. so if I wanted to do 72 hours of botting I'd have to pay 9$. Yes 9$ is cheeseburger money but if I were to run it for a month let's say and with multiple instances. it will get expensive real quick. I love the client personally but the subscription model is so discouraging to use.

I would gladly pay $20 to have a monthly license to use one of the premium bots. just not any of that hourly stuff. offer people the option to either. thoughts?

You can contact authors to see if they'd be interested in selling a monthly license for their bots.

Be aware most will say no purely on the basis that RuneMate provides no framework to be able to do this.

How does the profit share with RM work? Do we have to contact Arbiter in regards to private licenses?

It'd be on a trust basis, which is probably why Arbiter is against them. You'd pay the usual 30% split to Arbiter (likely via a Sponsor/Supporter subscription). I think, and I'm not sure if this got changed, there's also a 1:1 public/free bot to private slot ratio to encourage contribution to the community rather than coming here just to sell private bots. I could be mistaken on that though

There is currently no high-activity bossing bot for Nex, TOA, or COX that is publicly available. However, there are a few private bots that are known to exist, but they are very expensive and difficult to obtain.

Correct, you are required to pay the 30% split to runemate when offering private bots. This will be looked into when the pushers do the check of the code.

There will be some public to use on here shortly, the developers of these types of bots are very busy and are always in high demand so we just need to be patient.

The advantage is that you don't need to spend all of your money on one bot, compared to other platforms. It's good that you can mix up different bots and skills you may not usually try.
