I spent two $5 one-time payments for my account. Last I checked ~2 days ago there were still about 200 hours on my account.

It seems it's just passed the month mark for the first payment therefore it subtracted 500 hours from the allotted time, but I also used those 500 hours, therefore should my used hours not be at 298?

the first 5$ payment rolled off, you will have to purchase again also
just because you paid for more, doesn't mean those hours used in that time disappear, they stay there til the roll off the account, or upgrade again

Hello, thanks for the reply just confirming this is the situation as it is somewhat confusing:

I paid for 500 hours, bought a secondary 500 hours as I hit the first 500 hours limit.

A month passes since the first purchase, which I fully used, and my allowed hours goes down. Now I have to essentially pay RuneMate $3 to pay off my -298 hours so I can then purchase more hours to bot. The other option is to simply wait for a gradual roll-off (which I'm not sure will complete in the ~10 days when my secondary payment will expire)?

Waiting for roll of would essentially take 30days

EDIT -- IT would take 31 days from last day used for all previously used hours to roll off, I would recommend just spending another 5$ and re-up as needed based off your usage

If I had only used up 300/500 hours from my first payment, today I would be at 598 hours used; sitting at -98 hours left (rather than -298), no? I am perfectly happy to support RuneMate, though it feels like I'm being penalized for using up my full purchase.

it counts total usage over last 30 days.... the first 2$ you spend towards supporter, just gives you supporter rank, everything beyond is additional hours. you used 798 in last 30 days. So , if you spend 4$ today, you would have 102 hours available for use.

you could even spend 10$ today, and allow 5$ payment that is still active to roll off and you would be fine, and just renew at 10$ or reduce it to what you average monthly usage is

Right, so in order to regain my 200 hours that I purchased immediately, I need to pay $5 and the gradual roll-off will concurrently apply.

I was on the initial assumption for some reason that only the 200 free hours were meant to roll-off. Thanks for your time, I've purchased an additional $4 for now.

No, sorry for that confusion. It's a rolling hour system for every hour used within the system Kazemanie has a great guide for it Tutorial - Billing and Payment FAQ

At least you now understand the system better :D
