I chose the wrong payment option through paypal.

It should have declined the payment, it's a dead bank account lmfao
But it accepted it and gave me my 5$ in credits.

I'm just trying to make sure everything gets resolved.

Yeah the bank account hasnt been activated in like 3+ years lmfao

I just never deleted it from my paypal. Somehow it got switched as the payment method, but it went thru.

Idk what happened, I'm just trying to ensure I don't get banned.

So you used 0$ to get 5$ is what you're saying? You won't get banned for trying to get it resolved.

I'd say your PayPal account more than likely has another payment method set up or it would've refused it at PayPal's end.

Either that, or your bank account which you haven't used allows you to go in to the negative.

This, or you might not of realised you had money in your PayPal account from previous usages. Paypal wallet will always be used before an additional payment method is used (e.g, bank account, credit card.)

Paypal says the funds were deducted from the bank account.
The account has been closed for literal years, so I'm not entirely sure what happened.


But as long as you guys know what happened everything's all good.

Worst case scenario, I have to repay the 5$.
Best case scenario, I just got 5$ for free from somewhere.

Either way it's not that big of a deal

I was just trying to make sure this didn't come back and negatively effect me.
