Bug "please update" "the update information could not be downloaded from"

I've been having issues with Runemate over the past week or so.

First it was telling me I have the 32-bit version on a 64-bit computer. (I've been using Runemate for months prior without issue). So I go to the website to download the 64 bit version and I go into this cycle of reinstalling, starting up, and then getting this message shown below. Then the client tells me to update manually.

Please if anyone has had this problem recently and was able to resolve it let me know.

^^ I think this is the main problem, the update information is not getting through from the website in that picture^^

Also, I looked into my firewall settings and tweaked them a bit but to no avail.

I'm not very tech savvy so please go easy on me.

I'm having this exact same problem myself. I've used Runemate for years and have never had an issue with 32 bit vs 64 bit, not sure why this is happening all of a sudden but from the various forum threads it seems to be happening to a decent amount of users.

Partially resolved: All I did was completely uninstall Runemate AND Java, then reinstall Runemate like I saw @Arbiter say to do in another thread. I STILL got the error message like the first imgur link in my original post, but Runemate was able to update itself properly this time.

The only issue I am now having is the client is not letting me set breaks or a stop time for Prime NMZ. I click enable, set my time and save etc., but it still shows as disabled.

Update: Prime NMZ is now letting me set breaks but still not a stop time. But I'm happy to be back on it at least

Update 2: After testing, Prime NMZ did indeed stop when I set it to, it just didn't display it as "Stopping in x time".
